We rehearse the society we want to live in.
We are an intercultural art network specialised in the creation, facilitation and transmission of deep intercultural experiences.
We bring together people whose paths rarely cross, train others to facilitate these experiences, and carry participants’ joint creations and perspectives into public space.
Different stories, generations and ways of seeing come together to build a new shared reality.

BUILDING A WELCOMING CULTURE

We share accessible and adaptable methodologies that enable organisations, facilitators and former participants to create meaningful intercultural and intergenerational experiences in their own communities. Our trainings combine creative facilitation, trauma-sensitive approaches, intercultural skills and art-based practices that foster connection, dialogue and participation. We aim to multiplying spaces where meaningful encounter can happen.
CAPACITY BUILDING
COMMUNITY EVENTS AND ART PROGRAMS
Exhibitions, performances and gatherings that bring communities who don't generally get to meet together. Public events, exhibitions and artistic gatherings communities who do not generally get opportunities to meet together : open workshops, movie screenings, performances to sensitize the larger public, and share participants' stories and invite wider communities into the conversation.
INTERCULTURAL ART ENCOUNTERS
Intensive immersive experiences across Europe, bringing together newcomers and local communities through individual and collective creations. Spaces to explore identity, individual and collective narratives around belonging, diversity and coexistence.

COMMUNITY ACTION
Creative actions developed in response to the realities experienced by the people and communities connected to INANA. These initiatives have included fundraising during the Covid-19 pandemic, support for young refugees in Greece and creative activities with unaccompanied minors.

Living together takes practice
Sharing a city brings people close. Creating something together changes the nature of that proximity.
Inside an INANA project, participants listen across languages, meet unfamiliar perspectives, recognise their own patterns and learn how to move forward as a group.
The experience becomes a small-scale practice of society: intense, creative and grounded in real relationships.

What we do
We create intercultural art projects and capacity building across European cities, connecting individuals who recently arrived and those who are already established.
We explore means of transforming differences, language barriers, misunderstandings, labels, difficult paths and narratives into opportunities for connection, learning, individual and collective growth.
We integrate : formum theater, movement, sculpture, visual arts, painting... and any other mean that support each one's expression, accompanying the process of groups and individuals.
In their cities and communities, participants become "intercultural bridge builders", creating connexions between communities who do towards building more inclusive and connected cities.
Differences are our pathway.
Art our common language
Encounter matters
Growing means going beyond what is already familiar.
Every person carries a world: stories, memories, skills, questions, and ways of seeing that we could never discover from a distance.
Yet too often, we pass one another by — separated by assumptions, labels, and the stories we tell ourselves about who the other is.
Encounter breaks that distance.
It reveals what was invisible. It expands what we thought possible. It transforms difference from something to fear into something to learn from.
The diversity of experiences, cultures, and life journeys around us is not a challenge to manage.
It is one of our greatest collective resources..
